Kendell has been working with some of the nation’s top private sector, civilian and military canine experts and detection trainers for more than 15 years. In addition to titling and winning several international championships with her own dogs, she has raised, imprinted and trained working dogs for the US Government, including US Border Patrol & Customs, Military and Special Operations Forces, US Search and Rescue teams, and multiple police departments across the country. She is an AKC CGC evaluator and has written several articles published in K9 magazines. In addition to training dogs, Kendell has been instructing pet, sport, and therapy dog classes for 15+ years, and has facilitated training programs using clicker/marker training with chickens and other animals.
Kendell has worked extensively with multiple police departments and crime analysis/research centers, government entities and community organizations focused on prevention and enforcement efforts, and has managed several multi-million dollar Prevention and Reentry programs. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the programmatic and fiscal management of federal, state and private grant funded programs, and has managed awards through DOJ/BJA/BJS/OJP/OJJDP, NYS DCJS, NYS OTDA and several others.
