   Dr. Ernest obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of North Texas and maintains her license as a Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. Dr. Ernest has over 15 years of experience in working in the areas of addictions, offender populations, trauma-informed treatment and re-entry.  Dr. Ernest also has a history of the provision of animal assisted therapy and specializes in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  While Dr. Ernest places priority on evidence-based practices, she believes that the involvement of natural supports in the individuals life will lead to the best outcomes.

Kimberly coordinates and leads our training programs for clinicians, service providers, and mental health professionals.  She also delivers our Family Education programming, focusing on trauma, and substance use prevention and recovery.
